Buyer highlights

• Low lifting weight. At a listed 26 lb without the battery, the chair is lighter than many folding power chairs; safe lifting still depends on the person and vehicle.
• Quick fold. The carbon-fiber frame folds for vehicle storage without separating the chair into several large sections.
• Control placement. The joystick can be fitted on the left or right armrest to match the user’s stronger hand.
• Indoor maneuvering. A compact frame and tight turning pattern are intended for homes, shops and similar smooth spaces.
• Travel battery. The removable battery is described as FAA compliant, but each airline must approve the chair and battery before travel.
• Flat-free tires. Solid tires avoid air-pressure maintenance and are best suited to the smooth, dry surfaces described by the maker.

Warranty & returns

• Warranty. Journey currently lists 12 months for the frame, mechanical, electrical and motor components, and 6 months for the battery, tires, fabric and listed seat parts. Read current warranty
• Returns. The current policy lists a 21-day window, like-new condition, original carton and return authorization. Air models carry a 10% restocking fee and return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. Read return details
