• Braking and control. Traction control is available through the Segway Mobility app; it does not replace careful riding on loose or wet surfaces.
• Read range by riding mode. Segway publishes different range estimates by speed mode. Use the estimate closest to your riding speed, rather than the largest headline number.
• Transport fit. Folding helps with storage, but check the scooter’s full weight against what you can lift into a car or carry upstairs.
• Repair resources. Segway’s U.S. support portal offers repair requests, service-center information, official spare parts and product documents.
• Match the exact model. Other Segway scooters have different suspension, size and performance. Use the ZT3 Pro as a starting point, then compare the features you need.

• Warranty coverage. The ZT3 Pro document lists component-specific coverage of up to 2 years, with shorter periods for some components and wear-related parts. Normal wear and misuse are excluded. Read model warranty
• Service arrangements. Claims require purchase proof, serial number and issue details. Approved warranty labor and parts are covered; shipping can remain the owner’s responsibility.
• Return window and condition. Direct-store standard returns are limited to unopened, unused products within 30 days of delivery. Opened or used products follow the warranty process for defects. Read return policy
• Return costs. The listed ZT3 Pro restocking fee is $195 and includes handling and shipping costs. Other models have different fees; parts and accessories are final sale.
